Walkers Are Welcome Annual Get-Together
October 11, 12 and 13, 2024
Llanwrtyd Wells, the smallest town in Britain, is pleased and excited to host the annual National Walkers are Welcome get-together. We are an event tourist town that holds a number of famous events that attract people from the UK and further afield.
We have created a varied and exciting programme that includes walks, workshops, microbrewery tours, a jazz band, a Dylan Thomas performance, and a visit to the famous World Bog Snorkelling site. The full programme can be seen below. You can register for events, pay for registration and the buffet on a Saturday morning between 8.30 am and 10 am at Victoria Hall, which is in the middle of the town. The fees for the weekend are £25 per delegate and £20 for the Saturday night buffet. If you arrive on Friday and want to register, you can do so at the Neuadd Arms Hotel in the middle of the town square. If you want to book and pay in advance, contact us at the email address below, and we will send you the banking details.

Llanwrtyd Walkers Are Welcome is pleased that Pellitec is sponsoring the drinks reception on Saturday at the Neuadd. PelliTec makes excellent blister prevention pads, which are a must-have for walkers or runners. Click on the logo below to visit their website.

For bookings, please email martinpigott60@gmail.com to confirm that you are coming and which events you would like to attend so we can get an idea of the numbers. The evening performance of Dylan Thomas will be popular, so we advise booking in advance, as there is a restriction on numbers at the Heritage Centre. Also, numbers will be restricted for the Freshwater Project talk at the Dolwen Field. There is a maximum of 12 people for the Micro Brewery Tour.
